Riverside Theater ticketsThe Riverside Theater in Milwaukee is positioned at the corners of Wisconsin and Plankinton avenues.  If you grew up in Milwaukee, you already know that.  The Riverside Theater ticket takers have been employed for decades.

As the Riverside Theater opened up just prior to the stock market crash of 1929, it has seen great and less than stellar times.  The venue has a seating capacity of 2500-plus.  When it was a movie theater in the 1960's the stage held only a silver screen.  When the vaudeville acts worked in Milwaukee, they stopped at the Riverside, to be sure.

If you were alive in the 1930's and had Riverside Theater tickets for a show, you would certainly see the following items in the domed beauty.  The theater had a large organ, orchestra pit, and vast wings for set changes.  If you attend a show at the Riverside today, the only thing missing is the organ.  The theater was restored to its original glory back in the early 1980's.

Milwaukee is lucky to have the Riverside Theater, and patrons are lucky to have Riverside Theater tickets in hand.  Most times, you will see rock shows, and comedy.  Other times, it is a country music night, or Christmas spectacular.
