Brandon Jennings is the Milwaukee Bucks newest rookie, and playing point guard in 2009. This young man sidestepped the required college basketball play, and spent his post-high school time at Lottomatica Roma in the European league.
Jennings tried his best to pass the entrance exam at the University of Arizona. He failed multiple times. Although he was ranked at the top for freshman basketball players, his plan was scrapped, and he headed to Europe. The young athlete found himself deep in the Roma rotation. He saw limited playing time, and struggled to be noticed.
Brandon Jennings lists the following awards for high school play: Co-MVP of the 2006 Elite 24, 2008 Naismith Male player of the year, #1 ESPN senior of the year, #1 Scout.com player of the year.
