More Info
The back-up point guard for the 2007-2008 Milwaukee Bucks is Flint, Michigan-born, Charlie Bell III. Charlie Bell was born March 12, 1979.

After a successful high school career, Bell went on to appear in 3 NCAA Final Four matches with the Michigan State Spartans. His college career didn’t prove to be enough for Charlie Bell to be drafted by an NBA team. Eventually though, Bell was signed as a free agent by the Phoenix Suns and played five whole games for them before being released. Bell has also played for the Dallas Mavericks, though very briefly.

Just prior to signing with the Milwaukee Bucks, Charlie Bell played in the Italian and Spanish Basketball leagues. The signing with the Milwaukee Bucks came with the 2005-2006 NBA season. On March 28, 2006, Bell experienced his greatest personal NBA game in his career. He had his first basketball career triple-double in a Bucks win over the Phoenix Suns.

Heading in to December of the 2007-2008 Milwaukee Bucks’ season, Charlie Bell is off to a slow start averaging 4 points, 3 assists and 18 minutes per game. Bell is shooting just 26-percent.
Charlie Bell played in 70 games for the most recent season. Bell was a key player down the stretch and averaged 25.5 minutes per game. His ankle injury in January forced him to sit out a few games, but within a week of that injury, he was the leading Milwaukee Bucks scorer off the bench. In two late season games, Bell scored 20 points per game. He ended the season with a scoring average of 8.4 points per game.
