Damon Jones makes his way to Milwaukee through the three-way trade between Cleveland, and Oklahoma. Damon Jones has played for eleven other teams in the NBA, including a stint with Milwaukee back in 2003-2004.
Jones’ minutes on the court varied greatly depending on the team he played for. In Miami he spent half the game on the court, scoring over eleven points per game and nabbing 2.8 rebounds in that time frame.
The 6’3” guard played his college ball at Houston. He left Houston after three years and entered the NBA Draft in 1997. This early departure yielded no results. He went undrafted.
Damon Jones is a self proclaimed three-point master. Jones colorful career saw him fined for not standing during the last minute of a Christmas Day game. He is also one of the first NBA players to acquire a Chinese shoe contract.
Damon Jones saw time in 18 games for Milwaukee. He court time averaged 6.0 minutes per game.
Milwaukee released Jones at the end of the season.
