More Info
The Milwaukee Bucks were happy to draft Glenn Robinson in the 1994. Being the first overall pick, the Bucks expected big things from the big man. Some say that he was one of the best overall players to come out of the NCAA that year.
First, the Bucks and Robinson needed to iron out the contract. He held out, and received a 10 year deal that netted him nearly 70 million dollars.
He went on to be recognized with a few rookie of the month honors while on the Bucks squad. Having scored over 1700 in that first season, he just missed out on the Rookie of the Year honors. Glenn was part of a solid Bucks team featuring Ray Allen and Vin Baker.
Glen helped the Bucks move on to the 2001 Eastern Conference Finals, but that was as far as the team went that year. He managed to score an average of 19.4 points per game during that playoff run.
He holds many Milwaukee Bucks records, such as his second place standing as all-time leading scorer. He averaged over 20 points per game in seven seasons.
