John McGlocklin
Jon McGlocklin played the bulk of his NBA career in Milwaukee. The Cincinnati Royals picked him in the 1965 draft. In those two seasons as a Royal, McGlocklin didn’t get much playing time. Moving on to Milwaukee for the Buck’s inaugural 1968 season, Jon McGlocklin became a key player, averaging over 19 points per game. McGlocklin had a .842 free throw percentage for that same year, the highest in the league. Jon made an All Star appearance for the 1969-1970 and 1970-1971 seasons. McGlocklin went on to be a broadcaster for his Milwaukee Bucks. His work in the community was honored in 2008 during an emotional ceremony at the Bradley Center, where his number was retired. © 2009 MilwaukeeBucksTicket.net Terms of Service |
