More Info
In high school, Junior Bridgeman’s team was undefeated during their 1971 season. The Lakers drafted Junior, and promptly traded him to Milwaukee. Junior didn’t spend much time as a Bucks starter, but he played in over seven hundred games, and that record still stands. He kept an average in the double figure range for nearly a decade.

Bridgeman was an accurate free throw shooter. His lifetime average at the line was .846. He consistently scored over 1000 points per season except for the 1981 season where he played in only 41 games.

His standout season is 1979, where he scored 1423 points, 237 assists, and shot .478 from the field. He was nicknamed “Super Sub.”

Junior was traded to the Clippers in 1984. He spent two seasons in L.A. and came back to Milwaukee for one more season. As a Buck, he ranks in the top ten in steals, minutes played, field goals made and attempted. His jersey was retired in 1988.

Junior went on to achieve great business success. He owns nearly 200 restaurants.
