Sam Cassell-#28 Pos-PG Height-6’3” Weight-185 (Bucks 1999-2003) Sam Cassell entered the league in the 1993-94 season after two years at Florida State University where his number was retired.
Besides the Bucks, he has suited up for seven NBA teams which include: The Houston Rockets, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Clippers, and the Boston Celtics. During his tenure in Milwaukee he formed part of the “Big Three”, a moniker given to himself, Ray Allen, and Glenn Robinson.
The “Big Three” played a huge role in leading the Bucks to within one game of the NBA Finals in 2002 only to lose to Philadelphia in the deciding game 7. While playing for Milwaukee he was known as a clutch shooter, hitting many big shots for the Bucks with his steady mid-range game.
Cassell is also notorious for his up beat personality and intensity on the court. As a Buck he has career averages of 18.9ppg, 4 reb, and 7.2 ast per game.
